Aesthetics Assembly

Conducted once a term to expose students to quality arts performances and deepen appreciation. Features professional artists and curated programmes supported by external partners, including those under the National Arts Council (NAC)

Art Inquiry Based Learning Curriculum

A student-centered approach where students actively explore and investigate topics through research and class discussion. Construct their own understanding and meaning of artworks through experimentation with art materials individually and collaboratively.

Music Orff-Inspired Spiral Learning Curriculum

Students learn music through music‑making experiences that involve experiencing, exploring, expressing and evaluating. Emphasis is placed on creativity, collaboration and exploration, enabling students to participate confidently and express themselves musically in an engaging, student‑centred learning environment. Students are guided to appreciate music from both local and global cultures.

Hands‑on activities such as singing with movement, rhythmic creation, instrumental ensemble playing and song composition are purposefully designed to encourage critical thinking and creativity. Musical concepts are introduced, revisited and progressively built upon in a spiral manner as students advance through the levels. Music vocabulary is explicitly taught to empower students to communicate using musical language and critically respond to music works. 21st‑century competencies are integrated into music lessons, where students create and explore music using digital tools such as GarageBand and Chrome Music Lab.
