Higher Mother Tongue Language (HMTL)
A curriculum designed to stretch students who demonstrate strong aptitude and interest in their Mother Tongue Language. It provides a more in-depth curriculum beyond the standard MTL syllabus, incorporating complex texts, ethnic literature, and higher-order thinking tasks to further extend and challenge learners.
Mother Tongue Support Programme (MTSP)
A two-year initiative for Primary 3 and Primary 4 students, designed to provide additional support for learners who require assistance in the learning of their Mother Tongue Language (MTL).
Mother Tongue Fortnight (MTF)
An annual two-week programme with the aim of nurturing a love for the Malay language among the students and to instill a sense of pride and connection to their cultural roots. It provides meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom through hands-on activities and cultural performances, allowing students to engage with language learning in an authentic and joyful.
