Key Programme
1:1 Personal Learning Device (PLD) Programme (Primary 3 to Primary 6)
Our 1:1 Personal Learning Device (PLD) Programme empowers every Primary 3 to Primary 6 student with access to a school-prescribed device, ensuring equal opportunities for all learners to benefit from high-quality digital tools and curriculum-aligned resources.
Used under the careful guidance of our teachers, PLDs enrich learning across subjects through interactive lessons, designed to facilitate collaboration, encourage creativity, and promote learning through meaningful engagement.
At the same time, we believe that the best learning happens both on screen and beyond it. Our students continue to learn through hands-on activities, outdoor experiences, discussions, and exploration — with technology thoughtfully integrated to deepen understanding, not replace real-world experiences. It is truly the best of both worlds.
Code for Fun (Primary 4)
The Code for Fun programme gives our Primary 4 Andersonians 10 hours of hands-on learning in computational thinking, coding, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). Using the interactive Sphero Bolt, students will:
-
Explore computational thinking and how it applies to everyday life
-
Learn basic programming concepts such as loops, variables, functions, conditionals, and debugging
-
Strengthen logical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Discover how AI and other emerging technologies shape the world around them
Through fun and engaging activities, students will build confidence as creative thinkers and future-ready learners.
AI for Fun (Primary 5 and Primary 6)
Aligned with Singapore’s Smart Nation 2.0 vision to prepare students for the digital future, our Andersonians will have exciting opportunities to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and strengthen their digital and AI literacy skills.
From 2025, two engaging 5-hour AI for Fun modules have been introduced for our upper primary students:
